Victor D. Lopatka Joins Craftsmen Developers as Project Manager

Glen Burnie, Md. (December 19, 2011)—Victor D. Lopatka has joined Craftsmen Developers as project manager of the firm’s Oliver Street project in downtown Baltimore, according to W. Dennis Gilligan, president of the firm.

Lopatka, with 30 years of experience in construction project management,  was previously with Beazer Homes, Inc. and Gilligan Development,  Inc.  He is a graduate of Frostburg State University and resides in Hampstead, Md.

“Victor’s expertise in all facets of construction project management, as well as his commitment to a high standard of construction quality, will be key to realizing our vision for the extensive renovation and rehabilitation work now underway to the Oliver Street houses in downtown Baltimore,” said Gilligan.

Craftsmen Developers Supports Mission of NeighborSpace of Baltimore County, Inc.

Craftsmen Developers Executive Honored with Urban Land Institute 2011 Leadership Award

Glen Burnie, Md. (Oct 17, 2011)—Morgan Gilligan, vice president, business development, Craftsmen Developers, LLC, a land development firm headquartered in Glen Burnie, has  recently been honored with the 2011 Leadership Award from the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Baltimore Council.

This award is only the most recent that Gilligan has received including being named a  2011 “Very Important Person “by the Maryland Daily Record as well as a “Rising Star” by the Baltimore Business Journal  and the Living Classrooms Foundation.

Later this month, The Journey Home Gala, co-chaired by Gilligan, will be held.  It is a major fundraising event hosted by the Baltimore City Mayor’s Leadership Advisory Board of which he is a member and chair of its Fund Development Committee.

Gilligan, who joined Craftsmen Developers, LLC in late 2010, leads the firm’s strategic growth and business development initiatives, including refocusing its efforts on core markets, including the City of Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Conor Gilligan Announces Recipient of ULI Baltimore Grand Prix Fund Raiser Event

Glen Burnie, Md. (Oct 11, 2011)—Conor Gilligan, vice president of Craftsmen Developers, LLC., a land development firm headquartered in Glen Burnie, today announced that the Living Classrooms Foundation has recently been awarded $1,000 by the Urban Land Institute Baltimore (UBI Baltimore).

According to Gilligan, the contribution is the result of proceeds from a hospitality event hosted by the ULI Baltimore each day of the Labor Day weekend Grand Prix race in downtown Baltimore. The fund raising event was organized by the Young Leader’s Group of the ULI Baltimore where Gilligan is s  member as well as co-chair of the event.

“This was the best of situations—a fun event at an outstanding venue to raise funds for a great organization doing important work,” Gilligan said.

Craftsmen Developers Extends Sales Commissions Increase for Wharton’s Bluff Purchase Agreements Through October 31, 2011

Glen Burnie, Md., (September 14, 2011)—Craftsmen Developers, a land development firm headquartered in Glen Burnie,  announces that it is extending the one per cent increase in sales commissions to brokers and agents for purchase agreements signed through October 31, 2011 for townhouses in its Wharton’s Bluff  Parcel “B” development in Millsboro, DE.

“We are excited by the response to the increase in sales commissions that originally expired at the end of this month,” said Morgan C. Morgan Gilligan Named “Very Important Professional Under 40″

Glen Burnie, Md., (July 25, 2011)—Morgan C. Gilligan, vice president of marketing and business development for Craftsmen Developers, a land development firm headquartered in Glen Burnie, has been named a “Very Important Professional Under 40″ by the Daily Record, a Baltimore-based business newspaper.

According to the newspaper, Gilligan, along with other recipients, were selected for their professional accomplishments and commitment to inspire change in the community before the age of 40.

The recipients will be honored at an event  in late September.

Gilligan, who joined Craftsmen in late 2010 as the firm’s first marketing and business development executive,  has more than 15 years of marketing and development experience . Additionally, he serves on a variety of industry-related and civic boards and committees.
